Location: Cardiff Type: Contract + 6+ months Salary: £63,000 per annum

Job Overview:As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organisation and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support business objectives.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant - ACA - ACCA - CIMA.
