Financial Accountant - Ambition Europe Limited : Job Details

Ambition are supporting a leading global law firm, with their search for an experienced Financial Accountant, on a 12mth FTC. Reporting into the Financial Controller and working within a small team, this role will cover management and financial accounting, planning and financial controls. This will encompass budgeting, reporting, VAT compliance, balance sheet reconciliations, providing essential commercial analysis and advice to support their Global Business Services Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management Accounting: Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Financial Compliance: VAT returns, cashflow reporting, and project accounting.
• Financial Control: Balance sheet reconciliations and manage fixed assets.
• Commercial Analysis: Support directors with month-end analysis, budget processes and ad-hoc financial queries.

Successful candidates will be Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), have advanced MS Excel skills along with significant experience within a similar role, particularly in working with international teams. The firm are offering a competitive salary, hybrid working and great benefits.
