Financial Accountant - SF Recruitment : Job Details

SF are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant based in Nottingham on a permanent basis for a brilliant company that offers opportunity for progression and flexible working. This is a great opportunity for a Management Accountant looking to gain experience within Financial Accounting and Business Partnering or for a Financial Accountant looking to work within a better business, that can offer progression and a great/fun working environment. Salary up to £40,000 Study support Hybrid working - 2 days working from home Hours - 9:30 - 5:30 (This is to match the London Office) 25 Holidays + Bank holidays (Increases with length of service +1 each year) Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay Childcare Vouchers Job duties:

• Production of the monthly management accounts. Including balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.
• Production of the quarterly consolidated accounts.
• Monthly KPI reporting.
• Monthly cash management and cashflow forecasting and distribution management.
• Review of quarterly VAT Returns.
• Quarterly intercompany reconciliations.
• Production of the annual budget.
• Production of the annual statutory accounts, complying with IFRS/ FRS 102 reporting.
• Assist with Debt and Lender reporting.
• Assist with Audit as required.
• Assist with Tax Compliance.
• Support the fund teams with queries.
• Compliance with regulatory bodies, i.e. Ofgem.
• Knowledge of the UK renewable energy market.
• Thorough knowledge of and compliance with Foresight’s procedures and standards.

The ideal candidate will have the following: Previous experience in a similar role (Management or Financial Accounting) Studying AAT or ACA/ACCA/CIMA - Open to different levels Good Excel skills Good attention to detail Team player
