Financial Accountant - KennedyPearce Consulting : Job Details

Global Organisation seeks a Financial Accountant to join their business on a permanent basis. The Financial Accountant would be a newly qualified accountant ideally practice trained or a couple of years post qualified with industry experience. The Financial Accountant would be responsible for preparing statutory accounts and managing a team. This is an expanding organisation and would suit a technically strong proactive individual.

Duties of the Financial Accountant include:

• Delivering comprehensive financial reports.
• Preparation of full monthly statutory accounts
• Overseeing the Accounts Payable function
• Preparing financial statements, including balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Responsible for preparing accruals, prepayments, and other month end journals.
• Ensuring the balance sheet is fully reconciled at month end.
• Preparing the monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to aid business planning
• Managing end-to-end audit process of current systems
• Managing cash flow and budgets
• Conducting financial forecasting and collaborating with department heads to manage P&Ls
• Reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP
• Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management
• Maintaining robust financial systems to support current operations and future growth
• Implementing controls and procedures
• Ad-hoc projects

Requirements for the Financial Accountant include:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong technical background
• Strong Excel
• Strong attention to detail
