Financial Accountant

Central London | Real Estate | £50-60,000 + benefits

This dynamic Commercial Real Estate Business in Central London is looking for a dynamic Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to work as a Financial Accountant in its busy central finance function. Reporting to the CFO, key tasks include:

• Preparation of management accounts for a range of SPVs
• Preparation of audit files for the business and SPVs
• Commercial analysis and reporting
• Preparation of VAT returns for all companies in the group
• General ledger reconciliations
• Annual budget planning
• Variance analysis against budget
• Responsible for the company balance sheet and all reconciliations.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Liaise with auditors and provide information and analysis as required.

Key traits that the successful candidate will have include:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. They may also consider someone who isn't fully qualified but in the later stages of their studies.
• Strong financial reporting skills with a background in practice or industry. A property background would be ideal but not essential
• Excellent written & oral communication.
• Strong systems skills including advanced excel
• Strong interpersonal skills and a 'can do' attitude.
