Financial Accountant - Butler Rose : Job Details

Butler Rose is pleased to be recruiting a Financial Accountant for a successful business in Plymouth on an exclusive basis. This is a hybrid working role.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is an important position where you will work closely with the wider finance team.

Key duties will include:

• Statutory accounts preparation and audit queries
• Cash flow forecasts
• Providing required information to HMRC and national statistics
• Monitor and improve financial controls as necessary
• Tax returns and tax compliance
• Involvement in budgeting and forecasting
• Providing financial information to the wider business as required
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Involvement in month end process to ensure timely preparation of management accounts

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong IT skills including Excel. This role would equally suit a practice leaver or someone already in industry looking to make a move.
