Financial Accountant - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a fast-growing service based group in Rotherham as they look to bring in a Financial Accountant into the team.

This role is a full time permanent role, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

The role of Financial Accountant will be a varied one with duties to include: - 

• Preparing year end accounts for the group and its subsidiaries 
• Aligning monthly management accounts to statutory accounts
• Working under IFRS16 reporting
• Maintaining debtors database to ensure accurate reporting
• Liaising with appropriate advisors, primarily auditors and tax consultants
• Dealing with complex compliance matters 
• Reviewing completed balance sheet reconciliations and support resolution of balances
• Carrying out monthly analysis tasks to support management information.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences; - 

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified 
• Experience of consolidations and accounting in practice
• Strong numerical skills
• Good attention to detail
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• High level of Excel competency
• Strong organisational skills to be able to multitask and prioritise
