Financial Accountant - Savant Recruitment : Job Details

We are partnering with an outstanding not-for-profit on the outskirts of Reading who require a financial accountant on a 3 month contract. This is during a period where they will be looking to interview for a permanent position which is also available, but the immediate requirement is to bring someone on board to ensure a handover is achieved.

• Typical responsibilities will include;
• Daily preparation of journals and financial statements
• Ensuring all reporting deadlines and reporting standards are met
• Responsibility for preparing the monthly management reports
• Preparing the monthly payroll using Sage Payroll and handle payroll related queries
• Statutory reporting
• Involvement in budgeting and forecasting
