Watford - office based

Our client is a company, that own well-known brands in the fashion industry with an office based in Watford. We are working with this company to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their busy and expanding finance team. Are you a qualified Accountant looking for a role in industry? This role is fully office based in Watford, but there is a requirement for some travel to their London office with this role, one day per week.

Responsibilities:

Management Accounting 

• Liaising with the sales and operations teams to prepare sales and margin reports, and sales forecasts. 
• Maintaining costing sheets of products
• Preparation of weekly purchase order logs
• Stock reporting

Financial Accounting

• Assist Financial Controller, with preparation of monthly, and quarterly accounts
• Variance analysis of operating expenses 
• Preparation of weekly/quarterly cash flow statements 

Skills & experience:

• Sage 200 experience would be beneficial 
• Advanced Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with non-financial managers
• There is travel involved within the UK & Europe
