Financial Accountant - Byron Recruitment : Job Details

New Year - New Job?? If you are a Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Accountant looking to join a market leading household name business based in Redhill, Surrey, then look no further. They have a current opening for a high calibre individual to join their finance team in the capacity of International Accountant where you will assist in leading a small team who are responsible for the preparation of the companies financial statements, consolidations and all month / year end duties.

Duties will include:

• Liaising with international finance offices, maintaining strong relationships
• Influencing and developing the finance team
• Responsible for the team who deliver the UK financial reporting and consolidated financial statements
• Proving detailed analysis and support in relation to new initiatives
• Financial analysis supporting preparation of the Group VAT
• Supporting global audit relationship
• Acting as a Business Partner across the organization

We are looking for the following attributes:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualification Essential
• Practice trained, ideally Top 10, will suit first movers out of practice
• Excellent IFRS knowledge
• Advanced Excel and accountancy system skills
• Influential team leadership ability
