New Financial Accountant role - Growing manufacturing business in Surrey. Preparation of Statutory Accounts, Income Statements, Balance Sheet and Cashflow. £55k - £62k + benefits. Looking for those who are experienced with stat accounting.
Description
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts, Income Statements, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
- Perform balance sheet accounts reconciliations for designated area of responsibility.
- Monthly accruals for interest on loan and taxes; including deferment accounts.
- Periodic (monthly, quarterly, half year and annual) (Group) Reporting and data inputs as required for income statements, balance sheet and cashflow. This includes monthly actuals and quarterly forecast process.
- Maintaining Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) process and submissions, ensuring full compliance
- Manage approval of new vendors
- Capex reporting
- Business Payment Practices and Performance Reporting to HMRC
- Tax returns preparation and submissions; includes CIS calculations and submissions to HMRC.
- Work with Legal on statutory returns as appropriate, includes Group Tax reporting obligations.
- Performing sample and interim tests in preparation for annual statutory audit
- Proactively support with Internal Audit as required
- Continuously review and improve finance processes and controls.
Profile
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Technical knowledge of latest IFRS
- Excellent work ethic
- Confidence to communicate with all levels
- Proficient use of Excel. PowerBI knowledge (or aptitude to learn) is a must.
- SAP experience will be highly regarded.
