Financial Accountant – £48,000 to £53,500 + Hybrid Working + Defined Benefit Pension

The RoleAs a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Senior Financial Accounting Manager and Financial Controller with:

• Financial reporting, balance sheet management, and tax-related tasks.
• Researching and applying accounting standards.
• Supporting group queries and collaborating with external auditors and consultants.
• Driving improvements in financial controls and compliance processes.

This role is based in Derby and offers hybrid working (three days in the office, two from home) in a highly collaborative and professional environment.

What We’re Looking ForTo excel in this role, you’ll need:

• ACA or ACCA qualification with a strong audit background.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence engaging across all levels.
