Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:

• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
• Lead VAT returns and ensure HMRC compliance, liaising with external auditors for statutory accounts preparation.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting, supporting the management team in driving financial strategy.
• Provide advanced Excel support for profitability analysis.
• Drive the transition from manual to automated financial processes as the business continues to grow.

• Experience in an SME or start-up environment
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills required
