Financial Accountant - Trident : Job Details

Financial Accountant - REAL ESTATE. OUR CLIENT are a specialist accounting practice who works very closely with real estate firms, acting as their external accountants and financial advisors. They work with local and international firms preparing their accounts, helping them raise finance and keep track of their investments. They are looking for a Financial Accountant to work as part of a small accounting team.

THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES for the Financial Accountant will include:

• Producing quarterly consolidated management accounts, management information and variance analysis.
• Performing bank account and other balance sheet reconciliations purchase, sales and cash.
• Producing annual consolidated financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports.
• Producing all statutory financial reporting under FRS 102.
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns.
• Assisting with client end of year external audits and other processes.
• Ensuring payment of invoices and process payments and transfers.

THE PERSON and SKILLS REQUIREMENTS for the Financial Accountant will have:

• Must be a qualified accountant ACA/CIMA/ACCA.
• It will be advantageous to have real estate and / or practice experience.
• Will be IT savvy with strong Excel skills and have experience of using an accounting system such as XERO or SAGE.
• Be detailed orientated.
• Have exceptional communication skills.
