Financial Accountant - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

Your responsibilities would include:

• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and PnL reviews to ensure financial accuracy.
• Preparing and presenting financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Leading internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance and accurate financial reporting.
• Overseeing the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate transactions to support financial efficiency.
• Preparing and submitting Corporation Tax and VAT returns, ensuring adherence to local tax laws and transfer pricing regulations.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification 
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Hands-on experience preparing UK Corporation Tax Returns, VAT Returns, and Transfer Pricing Files
• Background in commodity trading, ideally within Oil Majors or LNG trading firms would be beneficial
