Join an international telecommunications company on an exciting 6-12 month contract as a Financial Accountant. This hybrid role offers a competitive rate of £400-£450 per day, inside IR35. Please note an ACA qualification is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in line with IFRS and company policies.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful financial analysis.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Liaise with external auditors, assist with the audit process, and ensure compliance with tax filings.
• Work alongside operational teams to identify opportunities for financial performance improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure financial integrity.

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA-qualified with 1-2 years of industry experience, with an audit or advisory background.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, IFRS, and accounting principles.
• Experience in telecommunications is a plus, but not essential.
• Proficient in Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with senior stakeholders and external auditors.
