Financial Accountant | PE Backed Creative Agency | Central London

Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's most successful PE Backed Creative Agency groups with their search for a Financial/Technical Accountant.

Turning over around £50mill, they're based in Central London and specialise in Digital/Social Media Marketing & Public Relations. They are a non-corporate, exceptionally friendly, and ambitious team looking to strengthen their finance function.

The Role:

This opportunity will be best suited to candidates with circa 1-3 years' experience in a Financial/Technical Accounting role in Professional Services or from an Audit/Practice background. They're keen for this person to progress quickly with the business and play a key part in further Agency acquisitions over the next few years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the group multi-currency consolidation
• Ownership of individual entities balance sheet reconciliations
• Compliance reporting, corporate tax returns, VAT & payroll taxes
• Improve and implement robust financial controls
• Audit management
• Manage and mentor two finance assistants
• Preparation and submission of monthly payrolls for all group entities
• Responsible for leading on technical accounting issues, providing guidance to the wider finance team
• Assisting with development of group accounting policies
• Lead integration of new acquired companies financial systems into the further group

What We're Looking For (Essential Skills):

• Qualified with 1-3 years PQE working in industry
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Excellent communicator, and a proactive self-starter
• Ability to work well individually as well as within a team
• A desire to grow your career as the company scales

Bonus Skills:

• Creative Agency or Media experience
• PE experience
• Experience with Paprika accounting software

Salary:

• £65,000 - £75,000

Location:

• Central London / Hybrid (2-3 days WFH)

Start Date:

• ASAP (can wait for 3-month notice periods)
