Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path.We are looking for a Manager who will provide support within our growing Financial Accounting and Advisory Services National team in either the Northeast, Northwest, Midlands, South or London and will be responsible for working on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, and business advisory assignments. You’ll make an impact by:

  • Working on technically challenging projects, which include the practical application of accounting standards under FRS102, IFRS and FRS101, group reconstructions and accounting considerations, conversion to different GAAPs, technical accounting papers and acquisition accounting support.
  • Becoming a Specialist in financial reporting and a premium advisor to clients
  • Coaching and developing junior staff and developing a skill set in business development
  • Delivering exceptional client service through regular updates and being the point of contact for all communications.

What we are looking for:

  • ACA qualified or equivalent
  • UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting experience
  • Experience of working in a professional practice, ideally in an equivalent accounting advisory team or experience providing written accounting advice to clients
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Experience of supervision and coaching of junior staff
  • Experience of Microsoft Office, with high competency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
