Are you an organised and detail-driven finance professional looking for a dynamic role in a collaborative environment? This is an exciting opportunity to support a small finance team, assisting with key financial processes and ensuring the smooth operation of finance services for both the company and its clients.

What the role involves

  • Managing the finance mailbox and ensuring all emails are actioned promptly.
  • Sending sales invoices in a timely manner, including uploading to client portals.
  • Assisting with credit control and weekly cash flow forecasting.
  • Preparing monthly prepayments & accruals schedules, including credit card accruals.
  • Performing monthly intercompany and foreign currency reconciliations.
  • Supporting quarterly VAT return submissions.
  • Reconciling balance sheets and assisting with corrections.
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly freelance information.

What you will bring

  • Previous administration experience within a busy finance department.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, credit control, and double-entry bookkeeping.
  • AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT. Further study supported by company.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to engage confidently with stakeholders.

  • Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
  • Hours of work: Full-time, flexible working available
  • Location: Cheltenham - Fully flexible working model
