Financial Analyst/FP&A - CMA Recruitment Group : Job Details

CMA Recruitment Group are partnering with our client based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Currently they are looking for a Financial Analyst to work on a contract basis for a period of year to assist through a busy period. You will be qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA and be available within a few weeks.

What will the Financial Analyst/FP&A role involve?

• Lead on monthly timetable and deliverables, ensuring all relevant information is received timely and is accurate and appropriate. Collate the monthly performance packs and prepare materials to be presented to the Board including commentary and analysis.
• Ensure the effective running of the monthly/quarterly financial forecast process.
• Work closely with senior managers, stakeholders and finance business partners to make sure the business performance is fully understood and communicated effectively.
• Identify and drive forward process and reporting improvements.
• Working with Power BI and lead on development of new, improved and innovative reports, tools and models for the business for decision support.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Analyst/FP&A vacancy:

• Qualified Accountant, ACA, CIMA, ACCA.
• Proven track record and knowledge of financial analysis and appraisal, management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience of presenting to more senior colleagues so excellent communication skills are required.
• Highly numerate with experience of using Excel (advanced).
