FINANCIAL ANALYST / MANCHESTER (HYBRID) / UP TO £60K & GREAT BENEFITS
WEX is currently seeking an experienced, self-driven Financial Analyst, in our FP&A team based in Manchester. This role is flexible to be hybrid and offers competitive pay and extensive benefits.
As our Financial Analyst, you’ll support the FP&A Manager in the delivery of forecasting, budgeting and reporting. Ensuring delivery of quality financial analysis modelling and support to key stakeholders to support key business decision making that will ultimately improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:
- Ownership and Delivery of monthly and quarterly reporting packs for international travel, aligning with Corporate deliverables
- Provide monthly financial Projection and tracking of all Opportunities and Risks
- Preparation of monthly OPEX reports to cost centre owners
- Prepare monthly Corporate deliverable schedules and bridges in accordance with timetable
- Be finance Business Partner to cost centre owners
- Support finance leadership in analysis and modelling for budgets and forecast across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows
- Calculate sales commissions for accrual and payment
- Take lead role in preparation of OPEX budgets and forecasts
- Manage the budget and forecast process for all headcount across the international travel business
- SME for all financial planning and reporting software including TM1, HFM and Anaplan databases
- Ensure all financial systems are updated in accordance to Group deliverables
- Support the FP&A Manager and senior finance team as required
Skills & Experience:
- You will be newly qualified with the appropriate accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or a finalist working towards an appropriate accounting qualification
- Have 3+ years experience in an FP&A role
- Have a curious and analytical mind-set
- Good communication skills both verbal/written
- Able to prioritise work, and hit deadlines
- Excellent problem solving skills, with an attention to detail
- Advanced excel skills (lookups, pivot tables etc)
- Experience of analytic tools such as UI Path and Alteryx preferred
- Able to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- A self starter with ambition to grow and develop
