Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of with a reputable transport company based in Southend, who are searching for a Financial Analyst to join their team as the company enters an exciting period of growth.

This role will be crucial in driving profitable growth and ensuring the long-term financial success of the business, as you take responsibility developing and implementing analytical standards for multiple business areas.

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum

Location: Southend-On-Sea (hybrid)

Hours: 9am-5:30pm

Your role will include:

• Analysing financial data and prepare reports.
• Developing complex financial models in Excel.
• Leading report development with PowerBI.
• Assisting in business planning.
• Performing variance analysis.
• Conducting market analysis and benchmarking.
• Collaborating with departments as a business partner.
• Supporting the finance team during month-end closing.

Candidate requirements:

• Strong data management and IT skills.
• Excellent communication skills when presenting complex data.
• Financial modelling experience is a must.
• Experience using Power BI.
• Part qualified ACCA/CIMA
