Finance Business Partner | Analysis | Commercial Contracts | PE

I am recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a c£50m PE backed business which operates under a long-term commercial contracts business model. My client is at a very exciting point of their evolution, they are entering a scale up phase, and to achieve this will be focused on both acquisition (M&A) and organic growth.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will be highly analytical with a strong business partnering ability. This is a brand new role in line with their mission to bring a more data driven approach to Finance Business Partnering across the organisation.

Key responsibilities: Report on performance, drive up delivery margin, reforecast performance, support on bid pricing:

• Support, influence and challenge the contracts which you are responsible for.
• Working with stakeholders to prepare and review budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Drive profitability, cash utilisation.
• Track and report on KPI’s in line the contract responsibilities.
• Able to analyse and simplify complex financial and legal arrangements.

Your profile:

• A qualified Accountant from a commercial contracts based environment. Ideally PE backed (but not essential).
• You must be highly analytical with extensive finance business partnering experience.
• Able to demonstrate a strong financial planning and analysis skill set - budgeting, forecasting etc.
• Able to communicate with credibility. curious, innovative, not satisfied to take things on face value

The role is Hybrid, with travel in the Midlands (Leicestershire area).
