Financial Controller - 6 month FTC

TalentEdge is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a Financial Controller (immediate availability or short notice) with a strong financial reporting background, on behalf of our dynamic media sector client. This Fixed-Term Contract  position will report directly to the Director of Financial Control, offering substantial exposure to senior management in a fast-moving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Trial Balance for multiple territories, ensuring seamless month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support the financial year-end audit with comprehensive commentary and documentation in line with compliance requirements, including preparation of monthly VAT packs.
• Take full ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and oversee financial transaction coding in Netsuite.
• Collaborate with the Tax Manager to ensure adherence to local and national reporting regulations.

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with 4+ years PQE.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, ideally within a well-established media organization.
• Strong technical proficiency in financial reporting and compliance.
• Expertise in financial analysis and delivering actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience within a similarly sized organization is preferred.
• Netsuite experience is advantageous.
