Financial Controller - Financial Accounting

£65,000 - £80,000 per annum

This role is permanent from day one and gives a unique and interesting opportunity to their next hire due to the nature of the business. 

So what would your responsibilities be? 

• Responsibility for all day to day financial activities & reporting.
• Ensuring all entities are compliant with any relevant legislation & reporting standards. 
• Investigating any variances
• Maintenance of all nominal ledgers
• Implementing & maintaining effective Financial Controls.
• VAT prep & submission
• Preparing monthly accounts
• Working closely with SLT team & board members to create and maintain effective budgets & creating long term viable plans & forecasts.
• Looking for continuous improvement opportunities

But what experience and qualifications to do you need? 

• Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA OR CIMA)
• At least 5 years PQE preferably within a financial accounting role
• Understanding of FRS102 is highly desirable
