Financial Controller - Arlington Resource Management : Job Details

No 1 role in Finance - Finance Manager / Financial Controller - Our client is a £10m renowned high profile international agency in the media, online, publishing, fashion and retail sectors. Due to growth and success, the company is seeking a Finance Manager / Financial Controller to bring its finance function in-house from its external outsourced accountants.

As the most senior Finance person in the company, the role will report directly to the MD.Liaising initially with the external outsourced accountants, the new Finance Manager / Financial Controller will be hands-on and build a finance function covering:

• Bookkeeping - maintaining ledgers, preparing invoices, reconciliations and month end
• Management reporting - month-end P&L, balance sheet, cash flows on a monthly basis
• Weekly updates - operational departmental P&L accounts, liaising with staff
• Credit Control - chasing payments of invoices and monitoring aged debt
• Expenses - reconciliation and analysis of costs and credit card expenditure
• Payments - preparation of payment run for authorisation, liaising with suppliers
• Supervision - oversee one accounts assistant and build the team when needed
• Development - grow the role to incorporate budgeting and systems development when needed
