Financial Controller - Trinity House Group : Job Details

Trinity House Group is exclusively supporting a successful PE backed SME business to recruit a high calibre Financial Controller based in the South Staffordshire area who are offering super flexible working and only 2 days on site. This location is easily accessible with great transport links.

A great opportunity for either an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate looking for a step up or an experienced Financial Controller that’s looking for a Senior Leadership position within a PE backed organisation. As a leader of the Finance team you’ll play a crucial role within the finance function, with core activities including monthly/annual reporting, combined with business partnering and frequent project work.

• Reporting into the Group Financial Controller - Leading a team of 4 direct reports
• Driving improvements in systems, processes and controls
• Overseeing the end-to-end production of monthly management accounts, inc. variance analysis / cost analysis etc
• Overseeing Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Credit Control
• Liaising closely with the wider business - consulting on technical issues, process improvements, creating a strong financial controls environment
• Working with auditors to ensure a smooth annual audit of the head office companies and the consolidated group

Financial Controller will be / have:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
• Experienced Manager with a hands on leading from the front approach
• An ambitious individual happy to take accountability for producing work to a high standard
• Experience with SME environment
• Working knowledge of SAGE

Financial Controller Package:

• £70,000 - £80,000 pa
• 10% bonus
• Flexible working hours (only 2 days on site)
• 25 days holiday (plus bank hols)
