Financial Controller - CMA Recruitment Group : Job Details

Our client is a small but rapidly expanding and very profitable and dynamic business who design, manufacture and sell all from the same site in Poole, Dorset.  They currently have a superb opportunity for an ambitious Financial Controller, who is keen to progress to the next level, to oversee their finance function.What will the Financial Controller role involve?

• Part of the senior leadership team, supporting the local management team in leading the business from a Finance perspective.
• Working with key stakeholders to develop and execute business plans.
• Ensuring robust financial controls are in place, delivering financial targets and ensuring compliance with all UK regulations.
• Presenting financial information to various stakeholders and providing detailed variance analysis.
• Producing all monthly management accounts and supporting analysis.
• Production and submission of accurate five-year plans, annual budgets and subsequent monthly rolling 12-month forecasts.
• Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and improving processes and procedures where necessary.  

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller role:

• Fully CIMA or ACCA qualified.
• Some experience from within a manufacturing environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels including shop floor, supplier international customers and presenting to the board.
