Financial Controller - SRM RECRUITMENT LIMITED : Job Details

Our client is a PE backed hyper growth international travel business based in London, who due to their continued expansion they are looking for a Financial Controller to join the business and lead on all aspects of technical and operational finance.

The key areas of responsibility will include:

• Ownership for the day to day operation and delivery of the Finance function
• Ownership of month-end close and monthly Group management accounts and Board pack
• Lead the Group annual statutory audit in the UK and foreign subsidiaries
• Submission of half-yearly compliance reports to the Private Equity investor
• Submission of quarterly management and compliance reports for banking and debt covenants
• Close monitoring of cash across multi-currencies
• Manage the company’s FX hedging requirements and maintain its hedging strategy
• Preparation of full year Forecast
• Support the CFO with preparation of annual Budgets

Who are we looking for:

A Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or overseas equivalent) ideally having qualified within practice and having post qualification experience within industry. Attitude and mindset is super important too - the CFO is looking for someone who will take ownership for the delivering tasks independently and to deadline, and has the drive and ambition to establish themselves as the CFO'sNo2. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, as you will be working building relationships with internal and external teams around the world. Above all we are looking for someone who is passionate about being on a journey with a fast growing SME.
