Key Responsibilities:

As a Divisional Financial Controller, you will:

  • Oversee all financial operations for the division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Provide strategic insight to senior leadership by delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals, fostering growth, engagement, and high performance.
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Drive operational efficiency through analysis of financial performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with divisional leaders to shape and execute strategic initiatives, ensuring financial alignment.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with group finance to ensure alignment with overall company goals and reporting standards.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A professional accounting qualification, ACA or ACCA preferred, with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven leadership in a senior financial management role, ideally within a divisional or multi-site environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distil complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, coupled with a strategic mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools, including ERP platforms and Excel.
