The Role

The successful Financial Controller will be tasked with the following.

Manage all statutory accounting and reporting.

Oversee systems and transformation

Lead all compliance, risk and controllers.

Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

Assist in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

Research technical accounting issues for compliance

Lead and own month-end and year-end close process

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Manage and comply with reporting requirements and tax filings

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Additional controller duties as necessary

Help recruit a build a finance function.

Help implement processes and controls.

Build reports and manage data sets using Excel.

As you will see, this is a varied role. We need someone comfortable with financial reporting and able to drive commercial support and change.

The salary is up to £100k, plus bonus and benefits.
