Responsibilities
- Ensure the daily cash flow is up to date.
- Reconcile the invoice discounting facility or factoring alongside all bank accounts.
- Update Xero and ensure all invoices and payroll are sent.
- Manage age debt collection.
- Control the monthly commission payable to colleagues.
- Oversee all bank reporting.
- Collate all information required under UK law to pay all taxes.
- Preparation and review of annual accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing for all contractual workers placed with clients.
- Oversee the payment process for contractors, ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
- Act as the financial point of contact for clients, handling inquiries and resolving any billing or payment issues.
- Ensure all financial practices adhere to UK regulations, particularly those affecting employment and contract work.
- Reconciliation and payment of creditors.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop, manage, and oversee the company’s annual budgeting process.
- Provide accurate forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including local and international laws.
- Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Regularly review and analyse expenses to ensure financial efficiency.

- Get involved in our compliance system regarding the preparation and analysis of compliance
- documents and drafting contracts for candidates and clients if needed
- Assure the gatekeeping for our CRM and manage the completeness of the placements
- CRM administration including management of targets and billing data
- Manage, edit and approve these placements regarding their fulfilment status
- Overseeing the compliance of our active runner base and analyse risk regarding project
- deployment
- Generating new permanent terms, contract MSA’s and contractor extensions
- Supporting leadership with the presentation of monthly/quarterly business updates

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Finance Controller or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Previous experience in the recruitment or staffing industry, particularly in IT or contractual staffing.
- Strong knowledge of UK laws and regulations, particularly those relating to contract workers.
- Knowledge in financial modeling and forecasting for businesses with a high volume of contractual transactions.
