Ref: 634124Job Advert: Financial Controller Location: London Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum  Are you an experienced financial professional looking to make an impact? Parkside Recruitment are currently looking for a Financial Controller to support our client. About UsOur client is a trusted standards body in global trading. The RoleAs Financial Controller, you’ll work closely with our clients outsourced accounting team and board.Key responsibilities include:

• Attending 4 to 6 board meetings annually (some may be outside normal hours due to global time zones).
• Preparing accurate financial reports.
• Providing independent oversight of accounting activities.
• Identifying and escalating financial issues.
• Recommending improvements to financial practices.

What We’re Looking ForWe are seeking someone with:Essential Skills:

• Strong accounting experience.
• Excellent communication skills, especially with senior leaders.

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of non-profit or membership organisation finances.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and governance.

Key Skills

• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP.
• Strong IT skills (Excel, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Stakeholder communication and team leadership experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
