Financial Controller - Trade Finance

£65,000 to £72,000 per annum

I am exclusively partnering with my client to recruit a Financial Controller for a newly created role at the heart of an international business. Reporting directly to the European CFO, this is your chance to drive financial growth, streamline operations, and make a real impact in a global environment.

About the Job:

• Support International Trade: Oversee trade finance processes, including Documentary Credits/Letters of Credit and credit risk management.
• Lead Financial Strategy: Manage P&L, Balance Sheets, forecasting, and budgeting
• Provide Strategic Insights: Deliver financial analysis to guide decision-making across international markets.
• Collaborate Globally: Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and joint ventures to ensure financial consistency.
• Enhance Operations: Coordinate local accounts, VAT compliance, and reporting under local GAAP and IFRS standards.

About You:

• Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or QBE) with strong experience in international trade and trade finance.
