Financial Controller| Office based - Lincoln | £60,000 - £70,000

Are you a highly skilled finance professional seeking a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic and innovative environment? We are recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a well-funded, fast-growing agriculture and property business with a focus on innovation and sustainability.

The RoleThis role provides the opportunity to lead a capable finance team and drive meaningful improvements across financial controls, reporting, and processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of five, including Finance and Governance Managers.
  • Overseeing accounting controls, compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborating with FP&A and business partners to enhance financial systems.
  • Acting as a key liaison with group finance and auditors.
  • Leading system improvements and implementing robust control frameworks.

In the first 12 months, the successful candidate will establish strong relationships with group finance, streamline financial processes, and elevate the finance team's profile within the business.

Ideal CandidateWe are seeking an individual with:

  • Experience in complex, fast-paced environments, particularly in manufacturing, production, or agriculture.
  • Expertise in inventory management, production valuation, cost control, and technical governance.
  • Skills in simplifying and streamlining processes, managing small teams, and driving proactive business communication.
  • A collaborative yet assertive leadership style with a strong ability to influence and drive change.
  • The ability to balance family-business dynamics with corporate governance standards.

Package and Benefits

  • Base salary of £70,000
  • Annual bonus of 9% based on personal and company performance.
  • Private medical and dental insurance.
  • Pension contributions (4% employee, 6% employer).
  • 24 days holiday.
