Financial Controller - Henderson Scott : Job Details

Henderson Scott are recruiting a qualified Financial Controller for an established business based in Birmingham. This role is a newly created position, will report to the Finance Director and play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations.

This opportunity will suit an experienced qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) who has strong understanding of accounting principles, financial management and leadership.

The Role:

This opportunity is a vital hire for this business, they are looking for the successful candidate to bring in an array of experience and manage the finance functions daily.

• Financial and management reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Management of accounting operations
• Cashflow management
• Excellent understanding of VAT, Tax, and financial auditing.
• Experience of developing and mentoring a team.

Qualifications and Experience:

Supporting the Finance Director and being a key member of the finance team, we are looking for a career focused individual who wants to grow in their career, has strong accounting knowledge and team management skills.

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102 accounting standards
• Proficient in accounting software and financial systems
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills - non financial and financial stakeholders

Salary and Package:

£70,000-£80,000 with an excellent benefits package

Hybrid working (3 days in office)
