Financial Controller - Bachmann Europe plc : Job Details

• Provide regular financial reports to our Hong Kong office
• Analysis of stock internally and externally
• Provide retailers with up-to-date bespoke stock information, tailored to individual needs
• Manage purchasing by producing and implementing a sales forecast (MSSI), managing stock purchasing into Bachmann Europe.
• End the anecdotal speculation regarding the way Bachmann Europe handles Bachmann Germany Management accounts
• Support R&D product meetings with data around cost control and production planning
• Manage the Tax Credits for R&D
• Involvement with budget and cost control
• Produce and monitor a monthly Management Information pack for the MCC store
• Manage the retro targets
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Develop, monitor and analyse financial data and prepare financial reports
• Leading on all budgeting and forecasting activities
• Cashflow management
• Drive a cost management agenda across the business, working proactively to challenge and manage all costs and conduct business wide reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities
• Drive improvements in financial controls, systems and processes
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, tax authorities and other stakeholders, ensuring the annual audit is conducted efficiently

Requirements:

• A methodical, realistic approach and strong problem-solving skills to overcome financial anomalies.
• A good level of computer literacy, including knowledge of relevant software applications, such as accounting packages
• Sound business acumen to effectively support and guide strategic business decisions
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make accurate conclusions
