The Role of Financial Controller

The Financial Controller will be a key member of the management team. You will be managing the day-to-day financial operations and providing support to assist decision making and adding value throughout the business.

Core responsibilities:

Ensuring that the financial performance is monitored and controlled in a fit for purpose manner in line with stakeholder requirements

Ensuring the day-to-day transactional processing is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.

Ensuring a fit for purpose control environment for the company is always in place.

Be responsible for adherence to and maintenance of standards and processes. Be responsible for the daily management of cash.

Preparation of monthly management accounts/information

Be the focal point for liaison with external advisors.

Management of the office

. The Candidate for Financial Controller

ACA, ACCA, ACMA. QBE Wide range of experience and understanding of the finance and control environment of a growing SME

• . Strong, up to date technical knowledge
• Strong computer literacy; experience in use, development, and modelling of spreadsheet applications.

Knowledge of Sage
