Exciting Opportunity for a Temp-to-Perm Financial Controller at a thriving Tech Start-Up!

Communicate are partnering with a rapidly growing Tech Start-Up as they look to bring a Temp-to-Perm Financial Controller on board to lead and shape their financial future! This is a fully remote position, offering the chance to work alongside a talented, innovative team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Financial Control: Take ownership of the accounting and financial control functions, ensuring the company’s financial health is in top shape.
• Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the CFO, Management Accountant, and Strategic Finance to strengthen the finance team and drive business strategy.
• Cross-Department Partnership: Partner with teams across Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Operations to align financial goals with company-wide objectives.
• Manage Financial Closures: Oversee and streamline monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Investor & Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare and analyze critical reports for investors, the Board, and key internal stakeholders, providing valuable insights into the company’s financial performance.
• External Oversight: Manage external consultants for UK audits and tax credit filings, ensuring compliance and maximising opportunities.
• Drive Process Optimisation: Spearhead initiatives to enhance efficiency, standardise processes, and scale financial operations in line with the company’s growth.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA or Equivalent Qualification
• Strong Understanding of UK and US GAAP
• Experience with ERP Systems, BI Tools, and Automation Software
• Experience in VC/PE backed environments is essential
