The Role

As a Financial Planning Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Client Support: Communicate with clients, providing updates and responding to non-advisory queries in a professional manner.
  • Adviser Assistance: Liaise with financial advisers to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Document Management: Handle post, prepare client documents for meetings, and maintain client files to company standards.
  • Process Coordination: Submit and monitor new business cases, ensuring adherence to compliance guidelines and recording progress in company systems.
  • Preparation for Paraplanning: Ensure all necessary information is available for the completion of recommendation reports.
  • Client Servicing: Support regular client review processes, including preparing portfolio valuation reports and regulatory disclosures.
  • General Support: Assist with office tasks, such as welcoming clients, managing enquiries, and providing support across departments as needed.
What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of working within a financial planning firm.
  • Understanding of UK financial regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • GCSE Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
