Salary: £32,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 1800-0600

We are looking for an experienced Night Shift Finishing Operative to manage the final stages of print production overnight at our Dagenham facility. You will be responsible for running a variety of finishing machines, such as guillotines, binders, and other print-finishing equipment, ensuring that all products are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain finishing machines such as cutting, binding, and laminating equipment.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished items to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
• Set up machines according to job orders and perform basic troubleshooting when necessary.
• Ensure production deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Report any production issues or concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a print finishing role is required.
• Strong technical skills and an understanding of finishing machinery.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
