Ref: 963202Job Title: Fire Service ManagerLocation: Stevenage, HertfordshirePermanentSalary: £42,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Monday to Friday, including one unpaid hour for lunch)Holiday: 23 days holiday (including 3 days for Christmas shutdown) PLUS Bank HolidaysCompany Vehicle: ProvidedAbout the Role:Parkside Recruitment are seeking a proactive and experienced Fire Service Manager to lead a Fire Service Department. This role involves managing a team of Engineers and Clerical Support, coordinating fire service operations, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring compliance with British Standards and company documentation.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Fire Service Department budget, including liaison with the Fire Installation Department.
• Schedule and supervise Fire Service Engineers, ensuring they have the necessary paperwork for upcoming services.
• Process documentation, manage call-outs, and arrange remedial work.
• Handle customer call-outs and provide out-of-hours support.
• Approve timesheets, audit engineer attendance, and manage holidays and absenteeism.
• Prepare quotations for minor works, installations, and fire extinguishers.
• Conduct product and engineer audits.
• Provide on-site assistance and support to engineers as needed.
• Manage false alarm statistics and follow up with customers after activations.
