Fixed Assets Accountant - James Andrew Recruitment Solutions (JAR Solutions) : Job Details

Our client, a West Midlands based Local Authority, is currently recruiting for a Fixed Assets Accountant on a 6 month temporary contract.

This remote position is due to start ASAP and offers a daily rate of c.£500 via an Umbrella Company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Fixed Asset Accounting within a Local Authority space.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting the Council to their Audit process with a specific focus on Capital and Fixed Assets
• Performing Data Mining on Fixed Assets Register
• Ensuring the Council’s Fixed Assets Module is in line with financial statements
• Acting as a Specialist for all Capital and Fixed Asset queries

Experience required:

• Experience required in Local Authority finance
• Experience dealing with Fixed Asset Accounting

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
