Food Production Operatives - Meridian Business Support : Job Details

We are currently recruiting for several Food Production Operatives to work 12 Hour Day Shifts to join a progressive food manufacturing company based in Harrogate. For the right candidates, this could lead to a permanent role after 12 weeks. Due to the location, you must have your own transport. Shift Available:  Monday – Thursday 6am – 6pm (0600-1800), x2 30 min breakPay Rate: £12.16 per hourAs Food Production Operatives you will be working in a 100% allergen free factory with the following duties:

• Loading machines with raw ingredients
• Product assembly on the line
• Packing of finished products
• Quality checking at all stages of production
• Ensuring correct product labelling
• Working clean and tidy and in line with food hygiene standards

We are really keen to hear from Food Production Operatives with the following skills:

• Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment as a Production Operative ideally however full training is provided
• Physically able to stand for long periods
• Able to maintain strong attention to detail whilst continuously quality checking products
• Looking for a long-term position
• Reliable and able to commit to the relevant shift pattern
• Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment working to production targets
• A positive and can-do attitude with ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Demonstrate strong communication skills. (Basic English language required)
• Own transport is essential due to location
