Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons that meet the national curriculum.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop practical skills and knowledge in food preparation, nutrition, and healthy eating.
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment where creativity and experimentation are encouraged.
- Assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the curriculum and extracurricular activities related to food and nutrition.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels (KS5 is a plus).
- Strong subject knowledge of food science, nutrition, and culinary skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
