Food Technology Teacher

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to support an Ofsted GOOD secondary school in Liverpool. The successful candidate will require QTS. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location Liverpool
• Position - Food Technology Teacher
• Type of work - Assisting the food technology department, setting up equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean environment
• Start date - ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration - Temporary with potential for permanent placement
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time/part time - Full-time, with flexibility based on school requirements
• Hours - 8:30 am - 15:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Food Technology Teacher.
• Must have QTS
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable, but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
