Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Food Technology teacher in delivering engaging lessons, with a focus on SEN students.
• Provide one-on-one assistance to students with SEN during practical cooking sessions, ensuring safety and understanding of the tasks.
• Help prepare and organise materials, including ingredients and equipment, for practical lessons.
• Collaborate with the SEN department to tailor lessons and activities to meet individual student needs.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and SEN coordinators.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting.
• Experience working with SEN students, especially in a practical or classroom setting.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in a kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
