Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Food Technology teacher with lesson preparation, ensuring materials are ready for SEN students.
• Provide one-on-one support to SEN students during practical cooking lessons, helping them understand instructions and ensuring they follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen space, supporting the teacher in managing the class effectively.
• Work closely with the SEN department to adapt lessons and ensure students receive appropriate support.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers on individual student development.

Requirements:

• Experience in a secondary school setting, specifically with SEN students.
• Familiarity with food preparation, kitchen safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team, supporting both students and staff.
