Foreman - First Achieve Ltd : Job Details

First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Foreman/Supervisor for their client based in Oldham who specialise in sheet metal products for a variety of industries.

You will spend at least 20-30 hours per week fabricating a range of products from prison doors to onion peeling machines. Throughout the week, you will also be responsible for allocating jobs, aiding / training fabricators, managing goods in/out, quality inspections and making sure that job deadlines and production / quality targets are met. This role will be reporting to the Operations Manager.

Skills Required

• Experience managing a team (preferred)
• Confident reading and working to manufacturing drawings (critical)
• Experience MIG and TIG welding thin (1mm+) mild and stainless steel (critical)
• Attention to detail throughout quality inspections
• Time served sheet metal worker
• Time keeping & punctual
• Pride in work
• Experience operating CNC press brake (preferred)
• Experience welding aluminium (preferred)
• Experience polishing stainless steel products to 240g (preferred)

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 7.30am - 4.15pm, Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm

Paid annually based upon company performance

Overtime

Paid at 1.5x but the requirement is rare - not regular
