Forklift Operative - Anderson Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

Our established client with over 20 years’ experience in delivering their services to the whole of the UK are currently looking for a motivated individual to join their team. This will be a full time opportunity based from their site in Innsworth, Gloucester. You will begin on a temporary basis with the opportunity to go permanent.

You will work under the Yard Manager, to ensure the smooth running of the soil and rock samples, assisting with the day-to-day running of a busy drilling plant and vehicle yard.

Responsibilities:

-Booking soil and rock samples in and out, organising storage, sample picking and disposal of samples

-Ensuring the correct forwarding of samples to laboratories

-Operation of the forklift for loading and unloading, movement of pallets as and when required

-Keeping yard, stores and warehouse tidy and safe

-Assist with stock checks on equipment

-Work with management to maintain / improve Safety & Quality objectives

Candidate Attributes:

-Forklift license is essential

-Reliable worker

-Good working level of computer literacy

-Good communication skills

-A willingness to learn

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm

Salary: £12 per hour
